Iscte was founded in 1972 as one of Portugal’s first modern universities. Since its establishment, the university has expanded its disciplinary reach into five schools, currently holding around 15.000 student within Undergraduate, Master’s and PhD Students. It offer 5 Erasmus Mundus programs and Summer/ Winter Schools. It is a part of the Pioneer European Alliance and has several international accreditations.
